CA. Deepanshu Popli - B.Com., LLB, CA, Partner

With over 4 years of experience, Deepanshu worked as credit Manager in a leading bank and have rich experience in Due Diligence & Special Investigation Audits. In a very short span of experience, Deepanshu helped several multi-National Companies in planning their taxes and financial aspects and handles direct tax Litigations.

For Startup Clients, Deepanshu has set up timely reporting system through one day CFO scheme devised by AKN. Deepanshu has a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Delhi University & Bachelor of Law from Rajasthan University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2017.

Sonia is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with 7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, auditing, Income Tax Advisory, Litigation, Assessment, Search & Survey Matters and Compliance.

In AKN & Co., Sonia has been leading the compliance team at clients across various industries. She has been involved in handling issues for clients in manufacturing, service, retail, telecom and banking industry. She has been representing clients before various government and regulatory bodies including appellate authorities.

CA. Ashish Kumar - B.com, FCA, GST Lead

Ashish is a Chartered Accountant with 8 years of experience in indirect tax laws. He has handled assignments of various Indian and multinational clients and has been involved in handling issues for clients in education, power, manufacturing and other services sector.

Ashish has been associated extensively in advisory, litigation, diagnostic reviews, and compliance services in GST. Ashish has been representing clients before department and various appellate authorities.

He has also worked closely with the Indian Government authorities. He has been associated with the GST department in recommending the approach to curb the tax evasion and increasing the tax base.

Shikha has more than 19 years of post qualification professional experience, primarily in Transfer Pricing. she has worked with Big 4 Firms (PwC, Deloitte last designation Director).

Her areas of expertise includes a wide range of Transfer Pricing consulting assignments covering advisory/ planning projects, documentation assignments, intangibles valuation, audits before Indian tax authorities and litigation She has substantial experience in advising clients on developing Transfer Pricing policies, review and restructuring of business models and implementation thereof, Permanent Establishment attribution issues and Transfer Pricing compliance, documentation and defense support.

Annie is a Practicing Company Secretary. She has 6+ years of professional experience in Corporate Law advisory, FEMA and other regulatory Compliances.

She leads the regulatory compliance practice in AKN & Co.

She is working with clients across multiple industries including IT, Media, FMCG, Manufacturing and Telecom.

Her prior experience includes working as an advisor with Michelin Tyres India and ILD Developers.

Minakshi Goyal - B.Com., MCA

Minakshi after her B.Com. and post graduation in computer application has worked as software trainer in NIIT for 3 years and Manager (Software Engineer) in a renowned multi-national KPO Evalueserve.com for 7+ years.

She has experience of working in SAP and Oracle accounting environments. Later she started providing freelance technical support to various multinational companies in deploying and understanding new tools and government web portals basis amendments in core practices.

She has helped in setting up regular taxation helpdesks in various client places.
